Many aspirants spend months preparing for the CDS exam, yet only a few crack it in the first attempt. The difference doesn’t always lie in hard work—it lies in the right strategy. If you’re aiming for the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, here’s a clear, logical approach to boost your chances.

1. Understand the Demand of the Exam

CDS doesn’t test you on how much you know—it tests how smartly you use your knowledge under pressure. Instead of mugging everything, focus on topics that matter the most and practice how to apply them in limited time.

2. Prioritize High-Value Areas

Every subject has certain sections that carry more weight. For example, in English, mastering comprehension and spotting errors can fetch you easy marks. In GK, focus on current affairs, defense-related updates, and static portions like history and polity. In Maths, build command over arithmetic and geometry basics.

3. Master Time Management
